In the land of Amenity, where everyone was very polite, lived a very rude bear who upset the afternoon tea everyday until Buttermilk, a very polite bunny, makes him realize how rude he is and agrees to help him become more polite. This is a super cute story about the importance of manners and etiquette. Set in a fairy-tale world, The Grumpling tells of a very rude beast of the same name who always ruins the fancy tea parties of the very well-behaved and good-mannered bunny population until one determined bunny decides to do something about it. Like I said, super cute and a welcome addition to my Little Free Library. Hmmm is this the grown-up Buttermilk of three other stories? And if so I see she is back up with bears although definitely note Jingle Bear. Cute story where the Grumpling is the neighborhood menice who seems to have no courtesy, manners or compassion while the young Buttermilk is eventually fed-up with the brute. But instead of throwing a fit she definitely fights fire with sweetness that does her no good until she breaks down crying thus showing the beast has a gentle heart after all. A good and sweet read that apparently a lot of kids haven't been able to get a hold of recently. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
