A penguin travels to visit another penguin friend, displaying various opposite pairs such as over/under along the way. This picture book uses simple language and lift-the-flap illustrations to examine opposites while still having story, albeit slim. This book is a good example of contemporary fantasy fiction. I would call it a contemporary because of the setting and characters within the book. However it has a fantasy flair due to the not quite talking penguins and some of the animals presented in the book. It is a great lift-the-flap book that helps teach opposites.
