The characters are good. Steele is a real alpha male and sexy as hell, I really want to know more about him. Laurie is hard to tell yet why she got a into such destructive relationship, she may have a story there. A good start if a little tame, I'm looking forward to the next book. The Characters
This story seems to have a lot of them, which is only right considering this series revolves around a motorcycle gang. For now we are going to concentrate on Steele, Laurie, Craig and Douchebag Donovan.
The Story
Steele has been “contracted” by Laurie’s brother, Craig, to keep her safe. Craig has basically given the green light for the gang to take Laurie wherever they need to to do so. Steele declines kidnapping her but unfortunately after Laurie pisses off the douchey-est of douchebags, her boyfriend Donovan, the gang is forced to step in and kidnap Laurie anyway.
I’m enjoying how this is set up. There seems to be chemistry between Laurie and Steele and I look forward to seeing how this plays out.
