Wasn't sure what to expect from this book but was intrigued enough to have a go and i'm very happy that i did.

I was pleasantly surprised by this story. Short but good. ( )

So I needed something to start the New Year off right. A bit of fighting, money, and romance sounded good, and this book delivers on all of those. Tank is a complicated, rightfully angry, and incredibly hot guy. I like how it's always the biggest, almost scariest types of guys that can be the sweetest. Emma I liked very much as well because through everything she still wanted to be able to do things on her own. It might seem dumb, but I think that's showing strength. She's smart, caring, and above all exudes multitudes of strength. The relationships these two have with their families enhances the book to make it that much better. The story isn't just about the two of them though, it involves all the characters and they all play their part. The length of the book was perfect too. There was never a dull moment and everything got said. Overall this book was thoroughly pleasing, and I can't wait to see how the story will continue with Tank's brother Finn. ( )
