In my opinion this is a good beginners book. I like this book because it's purpose is to inform kids about lions. It uses very simple language with a lot of pictures. For example, it shows two cubs playing together and explains that the cubs have brothers and sisters. I also like this book because it begins with a vocabulary page. Each page highlights a vocabulary word and the picture shows each word. For example, mother is a vocabulary word highlighted and the picture is of a female lion. The big idea of this book is to teach kids new vocabulary about lion cubs. ( )
