This nonfiction book discusses all types of ways that animals can be fast. Sure, we all know that a cheetah can run up to 60 mph, but did you also know that a mantis shrimp has claws that can punch up to 50 mph to open up hard clam shells for the shrimp to eat? This title gives a quick overview of creatures from land, sea, and sky who have amazingly fast features. It does its job of being informative in an easy-to-read format, but the writing style is clunky, leading to almost cheesy lines like, "That sure is fast!" The full-color illustrations of animals in motion are a nice addition. ( ) nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
