I can't remember where/who on LT - home page? member recommendations? - brought that book to my attention but I ordered it. Am I glad I did! Not only have I already folded a simple and practical model but I am currently reading the introduction, after the foreword by Peter Engel and the acknowledgments. A premiere for me who have always skimmed the images to marvel at the skill but mostly to find practical models to fold. I did it again with "Origami to Astonish and Amuse" but the names were so astonishing I was sure to never fold the models. Then I read some instructions, just to make sure that was doable, you know, and... I laughed out loud. It is a show, a fascinating one, enough to want to discover the showman himself. So here I am, READING a book on origami from the first page. ( )
