The three Daredevil issues collected in this volume are great. A look into Matt's childhood, the reappearance of Kirsten in his life, a fun adventure with the Silver Surfer--all things I loved. The two issues of the Incredible Hulk also collected in this volume were meh. If I cared about Bruce Banner maybe they would have been more interesting, but as I don't they felt like a major break in the momentum of the rest of Waid's Daredevil run. ( )

The opening piece with Daredevil dealing with the smell, then going back to the room to be with him? Friendship true and strong right there. It's a good story. Then Matt has to deal with a case an old bully wants him to deal with; then an alien requests asylum but the Silver Surfer disagrees and then there are some adventures with the Hulk.

I enjoyed this set, kudos to the writers and artists. ( )
