This book tells the story of a girl named Anne Frank who lived during the holocaust. In the book it both informs and illustrates how life was for Anne and how drastically it Changed. She went from being a happy, outgoing girl to being a captive at one of the concentration camps where she unfortunately never left.
Personal Reaction:
This book is very good but also very sad. it always makes me appreciate that I did not live in that time period.
Classroom Extension Ideas:
1. Have the students write journal entries describing their everyday life containing both words and pictures and then display them on a bulletin board in the classroom.
