11-year-old Jimmy Coates is seemingly an ordinary boy living in a country run by a controlling Prime Minister ruling by ‘neo-democracy’. One day strange men that his parents recognise turn up at his house wanting to take him away. When Jimmy’s mother tells him to run he takes off and the quest to uncover who he is and save his family is on. Aided by amazing powers that seem to kick in whenever he is in danger, Jimmy eventually discovers that he has been genetically engineered as an assassin to aid the tyrannical government and is only 38% human. He must fight against his conditioning as he joins with the leader of the Opposition. This is a great concept, full of action adventure and mystery. ( )

One day his life changes and he starts having more power, more energy, abilities he never knew he possessed. When strange men in black turn up to bring him to a secret underground lair he's not sure that it's for the best.

In a future London with England a near-dictatorship and products from the US being banned this is an interesting spy story. Fun, lightweight stuff. ( )
