Rhianna agreed to marry Robert, knowing that a woman alone had no status in society, and Robert agreed to return to Wales, gifting her a restored Penrith and allowing her to return to her people. Unfortunately, Robert struggled with demons of his own, believing Rhianna to practice sorcery, and eventually leaving her alone. Will Rhianna accept her powers and truly become the Lady of Penrith, or will she wait helplessly for Robert to return?

This was an interesting story with great attention to detail and I enjoyed Rhianna’s courage and spirit. Her power was great, even being untrained, and I am curious to see if she embraces who she can become or allows her knowledge to wither with Robert’s lack of acceptance. I enjoyed this magical story and will be looking for the sequel.
