It's been two months since the vampire, Bronx kidnapped and turned Abby Tate. She is now an hybrid vampire and eager to learn about her sorceress bloodline. But she encounters complications, like the head council and the resistance who would love nothing more than to destroy her. She loathes putting trust in the council, but it's her only option. Plus, if they can really reunite her with her real mother she believes the risk will be worth it.

Excellent read! Robertson has written a stellar follow up to book one, Crimson Groves. The story had a darkness to it that makes for an exciting change of pace. Crimson Flames has a great energy to it and it's wonderfully paced. With intense, sensual scenes. I loved both Tristan and Stone, Trace as well. The sexiness just rolls off of them. It's a miracle that Abby even remembers her human lover with them around. If you're looking for a bloody good vampire story, then you should check this one out. (
