I can see why it was nominated for a Hugo and even appreciate what's going on, but in the end I couldn't connect with it the way I wanted to. That surprised me because usually I'm the first one to enjoy the beautiful usage of words for their sake alone. [2013 Hugo Nominee Reading] Merged review: It's a beautiful post-war world.
