This picks up right where Magic Strikes ends and is a satisfying little story to fill in the blanks about Curran's reaction to the Pack after waking up from a coma and finding out Kate was repeatedly challenged while he was out . Fun to read and recommended to diehard fans of the Kate Daniels world. ( )

This takes place when Curran wakes from his injuries and faces down the Pack and how they treated her while he was injured. After dealing with the council, Curran has face off with Mahon. It's totally Curran in attitude, I just wished the electronic formatting had been better.
