Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |

The book itself sketches the debate around the existence of a historical person as the basis for the legend, the main sources, the different evolutions of the subject and its interpretations and also offers some pithy remarks about the follies of mistaking literary texts for historical truths.
The final chapter about Robin Hood on film and TV would have been more rewarding if extended into a separate book. (
