I think I have to do this at family story time. ( ) The book BRIEF THIEF by Michael Escoffier is about a lizard that steals a pair of underpants because he needed to use it to wipe himself. This book is a children's humor book. The message in this book is telling children that it is not ok to take things that do not belong to them. In the book the lizard is the one who took the underpants when they should not have and his conscience tells him that it is wrong. I really enjoyed the pictures in this book because they are colorful and colored very nicely. I would use this book in my classroom to teach children that it is not ok to take things that do not belong to them. I found this book to be very humorous. What I enjoyed most about this book was the plot. The story is about a chameleon named Leon who runs out of toilet paper and tries to find something to replace the toilet paper. He finds what he thinks is an old pair of underwear but turns out to be a rabbit’s super hero mask. The book was amusing and would keep children engaged while reading. Another aspect I liked about this book was the illustrations. The illustrator, Kris Di Giacomo, used many different forms of media in his illustrations. He used watercolors, pens and even patterned paper was incorporated in his illustrations. The main idea of this story is to not steal something that isn’t yours even if it looks old. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
