Saving Thanehaven is the first book I've read by Catherine Jinks, but it won't be the last. Buckle in before you read, for this is a rolicking adventure taking you from midevil Thanehaven and its heroes, mages, and princesses, to the modern world of rock bands and computers, with a side trip to anime world of dress up girls. Rescued from a thrall his geas, the hero Noble follows the renegade Rufus until they get separated. Then the adventure really begins.

Whatever you think of my review, there's much more to the book, twists and turns, that I have not covered--and will not. Read it and find out. ( )
