She was introduced in THEIR VIRGIN CONCUBINE. Alea is the cousin of Talib, Rafe and Kade. We were also introduced to the men that will win her heart, Dane, Cooper, and Landon. This story picks up shortly after THEIR VIRGIN CONCUBINE. Alea is emotionally scarred after being kidnapped and brutalized. She is a very compassionate and loving woman but she is having trouble getting past her past. She wants the three men that have been her guards but she just can’t believe that they want her. I was glad that she finally found her confidence and the strength to move past what happen and make a better life. There were times that I wanted to shake her and tell her to move on. The three men that fall in love with Alea have their own problems. Each one has his own insecurities. Dane’s family and ex-wife disowned him because he is a Dom. This weighs on him throughout the story until at the end Alea finally convinces him that she loves what he needs. Landon is an illegitimate ex-solider that has had to make his own way in life. He has never really had a family or anyone to love him. He also thinks that he isn't all that smart. Landon is the most patient with Alea. Cooper is part of a big, loving family and he is the peacemaker of the group. He is also a flirt and a joker. But he worries were he will fit into the group that will become a family. The three men finally make up their minds to pursue Alea and not let her run any further. The time that the three send on a deserted topical island helps three form a unit. This is a fun story that reads very quickly. The characters are lovable and caring. The men are alpha males that know how to take care of the one that they love. There is also a villain that is wicked and sociopath. I suspected who the villain was early on but that did distract from the book. This is a very light domination and submission story. There is a little spanking, a few toys but there isn't any bondage. I enjoy both of these writers and the stories that they write. This is a good addition to this series and I look forward to each new book. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Alea Binte al Mussad, Princess of Bezakistan, was abducted from her university, mentally tortured, and forced to witness the worst of humanity. She was rescued, but not before fear and her shattered soul made her retreat into herself. Two years later, she's living behind the palace's locked gates and the walls she's built surrounding her heart. Alea is comforted by the joyous family around her, but inside she feels so alone--except when she's with the steady trio of guards who relentlessly keep her safe . . . and tempt her with a passion she isn't sure she'll survive. Dane Mitchell, Cooper Evans, and Landon Nix wanted Alea from the moment they laid eyes on her. Held back by their duty and her fragility, they worship the princess from afar, determined to claim her if the chance ever comes. When Alea learns that someone may still be hunting her, she plots to escape both danger and her guards' simmering, overwhelming passion. Dane, Coop, and Lan aren't about to let her go. When they find themselves in paradise and all boundaries are stripped away, the ice begins to melt around Alea's heart. But when reality comes crashing in, will she learn to accept love before a killer strikes again? Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
