Wonderful and interesting I must say ( )

The only thing I don’t like about buying digital books on Amazon is that they give you a mixture of really good books and really trashy ones. I should’ve known this book wasn’t all that great just with the $2 price tag on it. But I was reading (and until now still currently reading) a pretty saturating book that I had to take breaks in between and read other books. I had found this on amazon and decided to give it a try. And what a waste of $2. Really bad writing, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. One star for I don’t know... Getting your book out there. ( )

This is one of those books that has a extremely high rating on Goodreads and I have no idea why. I bought Wanted and Saved because the rating on Goodreads was so high and the plot of Wanted intrigued me--I haven't really read any books where the heroine falls in love with her older brother's best friend so I wanted (no pun intended) to see what it was like. It also didn't hurt that the books were under $3 with my coupons from Kobo.

This book reminded me a lot of [b:This Beautiful Thing|16124682|This Beautiful Thing (Young Love, #1)|Amanda Heath|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1352957836s/16124682.jpg|21947309] by Amanda Heath--which isn't a good thing. I didn't enjoy This Beautiful Thing all that much because of the lack of maturity in the characters and the over-the-top, unnecessary drama in it. It is very much the same case here.

Based on the synopsis I was expecting a much more mature story in Wanted seeing as Ellie has been abused by her mother. By no means did I expect her to be confident but I didn't expect her to be so juvenile in her thoughts and actions. I had hoped Gunner would be a tad more mature as he is 3 years older but he is just as bad, if not worse. Even her older brother, Jefferson needed a good smack on the head at times. I feel as though someone wrote this book after watching too many teen drama series on TV and thinking "this is what teenagers are like!"... and unless I come from another planet, that isn't what most teenagers are like.

I hate insta-love connection stories and that is what we get here. I probably would have stopped reading it if I just borrowed this book from the library but seeing as I did buy it, I decided to finish it. I believe I developed a tolerance to the writing after a while so I did manage to finish.

I didn't particularly care for Ellie or Gunner at all throughout the story. I actually feel like their story is a side-story and most of the plot focuses on Jeff and Ari--even though they have their own book, Saved which is the next in the series. I think I would have enjoyed Wanted more in theory if we lost the Jeff and Ari saga and had a more solid (actually, ANY) plot for Ellie and Gunner. I feel like there was a lot of opportunity to develop their characters based on their family lives but it is lost in a mess of immature characters.

Seeing as I do have the second book in the series, I will be reading it but I almost don't want to read another dragged story but I will get to it--soon.

I would pass on this book if I had actually read the reviews on this site before I purchased it. Not the greatest book I have read this year but it had the potential to be.

I struggled to finish this book it was absolutely horrible it was just beyond ridiculous and way too long. ( )

Kelly Elliot is a New Author and she has truly captured my heart with Wanted. What A great story I will tell you right off there is ALOT of cussing in this book ... BUT It truly is a great book . there are some typo's in the book , but other thank that it was a great read.

Ellie amazing, insecure , totally loved her even with her faults and insecurities . She had a rough time with her mom's verbal abuse growing up and anyone who has been through that can understand why she was the way she was ....I am glad that she found the love that she found and was able to finally be happy after all she had been through with her mom .

Their love for one another was what most look for and never find!

Gunner OMG , Hot sexy, loving , patient man ... PATIENT was not even the word for him , he was amazing through this book . I love how he was patient with her, kind and very considerate of her all the time! Gunner is the perfect guy that will have you questioning your own relationships because your man will look bad next to him!! hahahahahhahaha


Ari and Jeff, they are another power couple and I am hoping that their story will continue, because I felt it was unfinished with these two. OMG I soooo Disliked the way it was left with them two BUT news is that's she is writing Jeff and Ari's story next! I CAN not wait for their story to continue ,...... ( )
