Spider-Man is forced to go after the Lizard, who this time apparently has completely extinguished the Dr. Curt Connors aspect of his psyche. He does so, reluctantly accepting the help of Dr. Michael Morbius, who is using Curt Connors' research to try to cure his own condition: vampirism. Interestingly, we see here for the first time that Peter Parker's boss, Max Modell, is apparently gay - not that there's anything wrong with that. It'll be interesting to see if anything comes of that, but it would also be a nice touch to see no big deal made of it. There's an interesting wrinkle at the end regarding the Lizard and his Curt Connors aspect, and a reprint of an older Lizard story. ( )
