Some of the new experiences are a bit scary, some fun. But, they’re all rewarding in their own way! Fun illustrations throughout! This is a cute little story for young children. ( ) This book is great for kids who are feeling nervous about growing up and being challenged with new experiences (ie: school etc). The book chronicles the challenges the protagonist faces and how changing the way she thinks about it helps her to overcome her obstacles. It is a funny coming of age tale about discovery and change. I love Jamie'S books. They are just so much fun. This one isn’t the best. Some of the rhymes seem a little rough and it does not flow like most of her books, but it is still a wonderful story. Our girl looks at all the first she has had such as a first day of school, first friends, and even her first lie. This fun book is great. I believe it would best to be read aloud to children around first grade. The main character is going through many firsts in her life, all of which seem very relatable to young children. Such as making new friends, riding a bike, and starting school. All of which can be a little intimidating, but I believe it shows children it is so important to be brave. In this creative book rhyming is also used which is a exciting way to make it all flow. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has children or even to be read aloud in a young classroom. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

HTML: The tenth collaboration between Jamie Lee Curtis and Laura Cornell celebrates the everyday bravery of trying new things for the very first time. While our spunky heroine, Frankie, learns to ride a bike, tie her shoes, make new friends, love her first dog, borrow a book from the library, say when she's wrong, try yucky food and work with her dad, she also learns that trying new things is how she growsâ??and that being brave enough to do so is what growing up is all about.
