While the story was well written, the author should have marketed it as a ‘short’ story, which I think she did try to tell us with her title. It’s just that some of us, [me!] thought that the title is addressing a “short” courtship of the main couple. Regardless, be warned. The story and the courtship are literally short.
Now, I did read Ms. Darby before .... thanks for jumping to b2b to finish my review ...
