Kidnapping

Another awesome read by Iris Johansen. I see another one involving Eve and Beth.

Eve finds out that she has an older sister and Sandra is worried that something may have happened to her and wants Joe and Eve to fix it. Beth has been in a mental hospital for over a decade all drugged up, why? ( )

This is one of the worst books I've ever read. There are too many unrealistic, unbelievable situations and characters to mention, the most ridiculous being the discussions the protagonist has with her seven-year-old dead daughter. This should come under fantasy rather than suspense. ( )

The book was hard to stay with after the first 200 pages when conversations became stilted and repetitive. Some of the murders may have happened with the movement of a wand, as they were dismissed with a sentence or two, and not credible.
I think I'm finished with these characters. Perhaps Ms. Johansen will invent a more believab;e plot with a new group of people, but I won't be rushing to read this author any time soon. ( )
