It annoyed me that the Father went from being a Duke in the second book to an Earl in this one. Also the characters didn’t really work for me. I just didn’t find the chemistry. ( ) I really enjoyed this book. Priscilla grew over the course of the book. Robert helps be a better person. Great line: I understand the food here is mediocre and my conversation is rumored to be quite dull. It will be just the thing to settle your nerves. However after I finished and updated Shelfari I noticed that Priscilla and Dru's last name was different in this book than the last name. Charlotte's' name is spelled differently. I even notice a inconsistency in the spelling of Char's last name within the book. Dru & Priss' father's title is different. In Lady Drucilla's Road to Ruin he is a Duke, in this book he is an Earl. That is a big problem, because the fact that Robert outranks Priss' father is an important plot point. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
Outspoken Lady Priscilla is the only woman in London brave enough not to simper at Robert Magson. As the Duke of Reighland, he needs a wife and this captivating woman would surely keep life interesting! Despite the obvious sexual attraction between them, Lady Priscilla doesn't wish to marry--ever--for she hides a shameful secret. Surely a duke deserves more than a ruined woman? But once Robert sets his sights on something beautiful, he will do anything in his power to claim it! Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
