Attualmente non vi sono conversazioni su questo libro. ![]() ![]() I was surprised at just how funny I found this. It almost makes me want to join the Twitter community. I thought it would be lame, like a Kermit the Frog book I read a few years ago (don't remember the title, don't remember if it was memoirs or philosophy, don't want to look it up for either of our sakes). But it was witty, and sometimes provocative. And very short - I had to keep making myself put it down so I could try to savor rather than inhale it. I love the paper book version - the colors of the user-names and the illustrations make the design of the book a real plus over e-book or audio. But I bet the audio version has an advantage, too. Anyway, thanks due to my library for putting this on the rack by the door and encouraging me to read something quite different from my usual fare. ETA - can't believe I forgot to say this - Martin owes his followers big-time. They were often funnier than he was, and they provided most of the actual material in the book, by word-count, and they surely inspired his creativity. I enjoyed this little collection of Tweets, although I'm glad I didn't pay $16 for it! There's not that much substance to it, and some of the funniest parts were the fans' reactions to Martin's tweets. Steve Martin seems like the kind of guy it would be fun to hang out with. He is smart and funny but not overly cynical or snide. Just a guy who has been able to live his dreams and explore all his talents. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
