Rocky Point Promise is the sweet, tender story of a cancer survivor & the surviving spouse of another cancer victim. Faith Stewart was tired of being the poor little cancer victim & once she was done with her treatments, found a new community to recuperate in. She made sure only her new employer knew about her cancer. She wants to look forward & decide what to do with the rest of her life.

Tate Johnson is the sheriff of Rocky Point. Tate was live by in Boston when he lost his wife to cancer. He moved back home to help after his father suffered a stroke. He ended up at the local clinic under Faith’s care after rescuing a child from the water. Finding out she was new in town, he decided to helping introduce her around.

This was a wonderfully emotional Christian story relating to loss, love & varying forward. Faith introduced God unto her life during her chemo treatments & credits that with her survival. Tate had a crisis of faith when he lost his wife & is slowly gaining his center back. Faith & Tate found an attraction as they spent time together even though they both were fighting it. I loved the introduction of the dog & it’s puppies. It added a sense of levity that kept the story light. ( )
