Every child i've read this book to loves it. It's so sweet and makes even the earliest readers more confident as they can often read the book using a few known letter sounds, simple sight words and early prediction skills.

The illustrations are slightly retro in style, but also bold and interesting. I liked the simplicity of the 4-color print

I would use this book for lower elementary students when teaching them the word meanings of: below, beneath, above, over and through.
