This book was very informative for anyone trying to learn more about basketball. It was extremely descriptive and did a good job with explaining what each term meant. There was a section explaining defense, offense, and also the arena. The author took their time. I can tell because she explained everything thoroughly, detail by detail and gave a good explanation as to why something is happening. For example, when explaining the concept of a trick called "outside arm/shoulder roll," she wrote" gravity and the normal force act on the ball, keeping it from falling off the player's arm. Friction keeps the ball rolling." This was a good way of introducing new vocabulary and also giving the reader a good explanation as to why a certain movement is happening. Also, the photographs in this book were perfect. It captured my attention and I really liked how they were real photographs of real NBA players. This allows the reader to connect with the book a little bit more because the photographs are of real life people. I very much enjoyed this book. ( ) nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
