I know there is another book in the series to look forward to at some point in the future but for the moment this is the last book available in this series. The premise of the series is that a group of men going into battle during a dust storm and it impacts each of the men in a different way. This is Chase Remington’s story and tells of his leaving the Army, becoming a CIA operative and then leaving the CIA to open his own PI/Personal Security business in Denver. His current job has taken him to another country where he meets up with Andrea “Andi” McGinnis. He thought he was going to remove a woman and her child from a remote village and instead is taking out the informant’s baby and the female undercover operative in the village. With a trek to reach the main town and problems aplenty the two grow closer and the attraction they felt three years before is even stronger than it once was. This book is an adventure filled with suspense that tasks the couple physically, emotionally and professionally as they carry a secret related to El Diablo to the agency and try to keep baby Paolo and themselves alive. There is a HEA ending that was perfect for all. I am sorry to see the series end (for a bit) and do look forward to reading Tucker’s book when it is finished.
