Well written, but I"m getting a little tired of the FBI undercover scheme. Characters are likable, and the action is, well...real!!! I"ll be checking out her other Shadowlands books. ( )

This is my favorite so far of the 3 I've read of this series. I liked the plot with the FBI girl going undercover at a BDSM club. She had dabbled in the scene but was not ready for the level she had to experience here to keep her cover. I liked the realism of how she acted and responded. I felt that with this as well as book 3 I learned a lot about what motivates people who live this life style. There was plenty of story here to hang the sex elements on and plenty of character development. ( )

I think I fell in love with Master Marcus a little bit. The kidnapping of submissives and hints of human trafficking vs. the slaves in Shadowlands is subtle and I think an important distinction that BDSM isn't the same. Previous couples were all interwoven even as new faces appeared. Cherise Sinclair always leaves me hungry for more. ( )

Another great book by Cherise Sinclair! Marcus and Gabrielle ended up to be good together. It was neat to the power struggles these two had and how Gabi wanted to submit but couldn't for the sake of being under cover. Some of Marcus's punishment to Gabi were very creative and I was always waiting and wondering what was going to happen next! I had a hard time putting this book down as there was more suspense in this one as there was in the other books. It was a nice change. ( )
