Warning: The book contains profanity Warning number 2: Don't listen in public places. You will seem crazy bursting in occasional out loud laughter! A huge THANK YOU to Tanya Eby for providing me with a free copy of her book. You can find her on Goodreads and Facebook. About the audio edition: Aduiobook, B00APKISL8, 5hrs 41min. The book is written and narrated by Tanya Eby, and trust me, she's done a wonderful job with both! If you don' believe me just go and listen to the sample. That is the small green circle with white arrow under the cover. You don't see it? Looks like this: But it's green! Did I liked the book? I LOVED it. Now, don't think that I say this for every romantic comedy book that I read, because if you look at my book shelves you will not find those. That is right! I am a heard science-fiction, dark and depressing memoirs type of person. I am anti-romance, anti-comedy ... okay I am not anti-comedy but I am very difficult to make laugh out loud. I genuinely don't 'laugh out loud', unless it is something as funny as the lady that just couldn't understand why [that is not from the book] the deer crossings are on a highway when it is so dangerous. If you are wondering what am I talking about go and listen to this radio talk show, because you are of the five people in the world that don't know the deer crosses only at the deer crossings! About the book: Okay, back on topic. The book itself is like having a dirty joke with your best friend over a glass of strong wine. We women know how these things usually go. it includes a lot of promises, dirty language and men-talk! The heroine, Chloe is in love with a guy, the guy is ot her boyfriend. He in fact has surrounded himself with a harem of female worshipers all longing to get a bite of him. And Chloe really believes she is the one, the special. That they are destined to be together. If only HE could see that! While this sounds oh, so typical there, to my limited knowledge, is nothing typical about Chloe and Tanya and this book. But I will not be saying any more. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did! Crossed posted @ Wordpress Tanya kept my attention from start to finish! Blunder Woman was absolutely hysterical. Anyone who has ever had horrible "crush" on someone untouchable and did anything you regretted later *cough*sober*cough* can relate to this story & hopefully look back and laugh! Been there. Done that. LMAO at the antics. Great job! nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
Chloe Knaggs is a bit of a nerd, a bit of a klutz, and all Blunder Woman, especially when it comes to love. Take the love of her life, Matt M. - or as she calls him - Mmm. He's her consummate unboyfriend, meaning, they have all the intimacy of a dating couple without any of the intimacy. Confused? So is Chloe. When Matt decides to elope with the very beautiful, svelte Amber, Chloe goes a little bit crazy and takes her hippy mom and best friend Megan right along with her. Blunder Woman is a hilarious romp with bright characters through a series of misadventures including a derby party gone horribly wrong, a night of drinking Flaming Turtles, and a fundraising event where the biggest blunder of all occurs. Blunder Woman is funny, fresh, and above all real...in a truly awkward way. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |

The other characters in the book include Chloe’s best friend Megan and Chloe’s mother who is a great character all on her own, from her Reiki to tarot readings she is hippy dippy and hilarious. There is a whole cast of interesting fully fleshed out characters each one with their own quirks and personalities.
I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Tanya Eby on my blog but had never had the pleasure of hearing her narrations so I decided to do one better and listen to a book she wrote and narrated, I was not disappointed the story is great and the narration was fabulous you always knew exactly who was talking and everyone had their own voice. I look forward to listening to more by Tanya.
I didn’t realize this book was set in Michigan when I chose it for one of my vacation listens and I was vacationing in Michigan, so it was fun knowing all the places they went.
If you are looking for a light listen/read that will make you giggle, snort and guffaw this is the book for you! Be warned listening to this book in public will get you funny looks because you can’t help but laugh out loud at some of the great lines and situations. I would definitely read another book by Tanya and would read another book with this cast of characters (hint, hint).
