Six highly qualified child educators and writers contributed to this book. Unfortunately it is not indexed, but the table of contents goes a long way toward making up for that. Beginning on page 199 are 47 pages of books suggested for work with very young children. They are broken up into categories ranging from racial and ethnic diversity to developing values. Excellent collection of case studies, tips and resources for teaching young children how to accept and embrace diversity in all its forms. I work in a preschool where teachers at our school already work on many of these concepts, and having read this book will help me support their work when I have informal conversations with the kids as I go about my day. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
Could the end of your marriage be the first step toward reclaiming your personal power and joyfully living the life of your dreams? If the answer is yes, this book is for you. Divorce rocks the very foundation of our beings, leaving us feeling lonely, flawed, enraged, undesirable, hopeless, and empty. In Spiritual Divorce, New York Times bestselling author Debbie Ford reveals how this devastation can be transformed into a profoundly enlightening experience. This empowering guide shows how the collapse of a marriage is, at root, a spiritual wake-up call, an opportunity to liberate ourselves and reclaim our lives. The end of a relationship—no matter who ends it—is a damaging moment. Ford offers a clear program for turning ruin into renewal. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
