I would use this book in a Kindergarten class for a lesson about maps. The book uses directional language and introduces maps in a way that young children can grasp. It also pictures different kinds of areas such as cities, meadow, mountains, and ocean. ( )

`The book is very interesting because it shows how to make different types of maps through the paths that all animals take throughout their day, and that even though all the animals are different the book shows how they come together at the end. pretty cool
