In the book What if there were no gray wolves Slade discusses what would happen to the temperate rainforest system if all of the gray wolves were gone. I chose this book to tie it to the NGSS standard about Ecosystems: Interactions, Energy, and Dynamics which asks students to develop a model to describe the movement of matter among the plants, animals, decomposers, and the environment. I think that this would be great when talking about chain reactions in ecosystems and it was great for teaching in the pacific northwest which is a temperate rainforest ecosystem. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
Deciduous forest ecosystems can be found on nearly every continent. Countless animals and plants live in them. So what difference could the loss of one animal species make? Follow the chain reaction, and discover how important gray wolves are. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
