Book Summary- Sulley the monster is scared of little girls but Boo loves monsters. Boo starts getting sleepy this then gives Sulley an idea. Sulley decides to leave a trail of cereal that Boo will follow to her little bed that Sulley made her out of newspapers. However, Boo had other plans. Boo wanted to sleep in a real bed. Sulley finds that Boo is curled up in his bed, sound asleep.

Personal Reaction to the book- My reaction to this book was first how the pictures helped tell the story before I read the words on the page. I found this book very simple but at the same time could teach a lesson. Since I will be teaching elementary students and my ideal grade is first grade this would be a great book to read to them.

Extension Ideas:
1. The students will write a short story about a time in their life they can remember of being scared of something. Then they will share how they tried to overcome this fear.
2. The students will draw pictures that relates to their story about being scared of something and overcoming that fear. I will pass around the book Good Night, Sulley to help serve as a model to get them started with their pictures.
