This was my very first Inspirational romance of any kind. I am fond of romance, especially with a twist of suspense. I am also a Christian, so hoped this book would pique my interest on both fronts. While I enjoyed the story and the characters, I couldn't help but feel distracted by many of the "inspirational" moments in the book. Sometimes they just felt forced, as though the author felt she needed to insert "X" number of "inspirational" moments and/or messages and so did so in whatever location she felt she could shoehorn them in. Other than that, I found the read enjoyable. (
