Great women's devotional, I love how it's organized from Bible scriptures starting at the beginning to the end, especially since most pick from some of the more well-known verses and jump around based on the message (works for shorter devotionals, but I think it made a huge difference in its readability). There's a small prayer at the end of each of day's lesson. Positive and uplifting. Good option for a gift.

I chose the wrong style of book to read about the Reformation. This book is highly repetitive which it is designed to be. I was also not looking for a book with the bias toward Protestantism that this one has. I was looking for a simple, concise history and this is not that book.

My favorite line from the book was this: "As with anything else in your life of faith, God knows better than anyone what you really need, and that includes which version of the Bible you should be reading."
