Breve biografia
Saint Jerome (Latin: Eusebius Sophronius Hieronymus; Greek: Εὐσέβιος Σωφρόνιος Ἱερώνυμος; c.  347 – 30 September 420) was a Latin Christian priest, confessor, theologian and historian, who also became a Doctor of the Church. He was the son of Eusebius, of the city of Stridon, on the border of Dalmatia and Pannonia. He is best known for his translation of the Bible into Latin (the Vulgate), and his commentaries on the Gospel of the Hebrews.

Generally uninteresting because of its Hebraicizing text. The translator, Scheck, provides some useful tables and comments in his introduction, and St. Jerome's preface to his book two of Micah is a locus classicus defending his compilatory method in commentary. I took photos of those pages.

I scanned this but was uninterested in the Hebraisizing text. Perhaps there are nuggets concealed in a preface or somewhere in the text.
