This would be fun to read with children. Perhaps most useful to me is the bibliography of sources at the end of the book.
A nice collection of Filipino superstitions and beliefs. It's interesting to learn about the Filipinos' way of thinking before and it's more interesting when some still applies today. Several beliefs give no harm for following it but some are downright ridiculous. Most of it doesn't make sense, funny, and even contradicting. This shows that people are weird. I like it.
I took the test and I had 80 points. The result: "Malayo ka pa!".
Am I not Filipino enough? haha I guess it's because I still don't have children to entertain visitors by dancing and other parent things :D

This collection of phipippino folk tales about fruits is a delightful read. The stories are short and poignant with many sassy strong-minded characters, especially children. There are many great lessons about celebrating children--listening to them and indulging their play. These stories will have me looking at fruit in a magical light. I learned about philippino values, culture and language as well as where fruit names were derived from. The drawings were soft pencil drawings that I enjoyed perusing for fun details.… (altro)
