Really enjoyed audiobook. Very much similar to Jojo Moyes-giver of stars
An enjoyable historical story about a pack-horse librarian in 1930s Kentucky.
Historical fiction set in western Kentucky in the 1950s.
It's main character, Honey, is the daughter of Cussy, the "book woman" from The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek hence the title of this second book in the series.
Honey is a teenager who, as well as being one of the "Blue People" due to a rare genetic disease just like her mother, becomes a "book woman" like her too.
Honey must make very hard choices to survive on her own terms when she is separated from her parents due to a troubling series of events.… (altro)
