Breve biografia
Greg Kauffman-Starkey has been writing for over 30 years, but "Thunderhoof - Way of the Centaur" is his first published book. He grew up in northeast Michigan and enjoys reading and writing interactive fiction, choose-your-own-adventure style of books as well as fantasy adventures. His style is influenced mostly by Stephen R Donaldson and Terry Pratchett, his two favorite authors. He hopes to publish other books he has been working on, all in the choose-your-path genre, mainly in the horror realm.

His second book "MacDougal's Pride" takes time-travel to a new dimension when the lead character, a 30-year-old Irish lay-about, accidentally finds himself magically transported to 1763 Ireland via a Standing Stone circle, and must help his ancestors fight a rival clan bent on taking over MacDougal Castle in a vicious land war. This book already has some appeal to fans of tv hit show "Outlander" and, like "Thunderhoof" before it, is an interactive, choose-your-path adventure story that can go in almost any direction the reader decides.

On May 2018, he published his third book "A Renfaire to Remember" directly on Amazon's Kindle Publishing. This is the second linear, non-interactive title he's published , after his medieval murder mystery "Llewellyn and the Mystery of the Hanged Monk", and he's already at work on a sequel, the first sequel he's ever written for a story. "Renfaire" comes from his experiences both attending and performing at the Florida Renaissance Festival each Spring.

He's been using some of his recent experience - especially his renaissance faire wedding in 2016 - as inspiration for some of his writing, and his love for thrift stores as a basis for a mystery based in a haunted thrift shop.

He has begun writing LGBT-themed romances, sometimes coupled with murder mysteries. He has been incorporating song lyrics he wrote back in the 1980s into a couple of his more music-oriented novels as well. A friend of his is working on putting music to some of his lyrics for an upcoming folk music CD release.

He recently added a fifth speculative fiction (or sci-fi) to his library. "Legacy of the Otter-Whisperer" joined the ranks of "The Eclipse of Zycherian", Orion's Belt", "Wheels of Destiny, Book 1: Blackridge", and "Dr. Remo and the Undersea City".
