This really isn't a Sherlock Holmes story. Holmes has been asked to come to the US and take a look at the Warren Commission findings on the Kennedy assassination. So right off the bat, we've got Sherlock in a new time period.

There's no mystery. The book should appeal to those readers with a keen interest in the assassination. Sherlock picks the Commission Report apart piece by piece, but he doesn't 'solve' anything. Only establishes that there are more questions than answered.
