Really good! There were a few things I wish had been a bit different keeping me from giving it 5 stars. I wish they had gotten together sooner and feel Fina should have been angrier at him longer. ( )

Bruh! Remo is .... Something! ( )

I’m not gonna lie. I didn’t know how she was going to pull off making me like Remo. Remo is a psychopath. Remo kidnapped Serafina from her wedding and held her hostage to use her for revenge against her family. But he ended up becoming obsessed with her and decided to keep her. And she fell in love with him anyway. That was a lot. But it worked. Serafina was time enough Remo. He took everything from her, but didn’t realize how much of him she was taking in the process. These two were strangely meant to be. ( )

Really good story.
It's best to read previous books in series, though not essential to understand the situation in this book.
Remo and his brothers are an emotional or non-emotional mess. Remo does the craziest things and is very unpredictable.
Strong heroine.
Seraphina has the reputation of being the "ice princess" but with her family she is loveable and warm.
There are some violent scenes.
The book is quite tense, as a reader you are really not sure how things will work out between these two, how far Reko will go and how they will get to a HEA.
The Mafia life allows men to sleep around but the women remain "pure" for their future husband.
After he initially kidnaps Serafina, Reno has sex with another woman, the scene has some detail.
After that there is no mention of him doing it again, in fact he seems faithful to her.
During separation there are no details of other women but he mentions fighting and whores, he says later she has ruined him for all other women so the reader could assume he was faithful during separation though they are not together and there is no understanding between them of a future at that point.
Breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series and updates of previous characters and couples from previous books.
I liked that the author didn't paint Seraphina's fiance, Danilla, out to be bad guy(excluding his mafia activities), he would have been good to her, he just wasn't the man for her, but the author didn't reveal him to necessarily be a bad choice for Seraphina. Although he is still a bit of a mystery and I am hoping for a future book about him.

I give remoserafina a solid 3.5 because I love their dynamic after she returns to him. Personally I had a hard time w the stockholm syndrome trope and nature of the relationship. cora did a pretty good job with it, and I think a great job of humanizing remo enough without completely undoing all of his precious character development and establishment as a crazy, ruthless madman from previous books. serafina pleasantly surprised me and I loved to see her grow a backbone! all in all def love them and beautiful greta and nemo, just heavily preferred the resolution and ending to most of the build up!
