Hmm. I still enjoyed this one quite a bit, but, to be honest, I've never been overly-enamored with the Negative Zone, so with most of the book done there—consisting mostly of one-and-done stories—felt just okay. Annihilus seemed just tossed in there, as was Daredevil. And I'm shocked that Byrne could write about parents away from their only child for months on end, and not give one line about missing him, or worrying about him.

However, the capper of this collection, from the FF Annual—without giving away any spoilers—is dopey, stupid, and a lot of fun, all the while harkening back to an old Lee/Kirby plot point from the early issues of FF.

So, not great, but not bad. And Sue Storm continues to be, at least for me, the standout character. ( )
