The appellations current to describe the Low Countries, or parts of them, and their inhabitants, have fallen into a chaotic Confusion which is a reflection of their chequered history, but which compels the historian to introduce some system of his own if he wants to convey clear impressions to the minds of his readers.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
