Originally a public lecture series at a Canadian university, the book provides a kind of "genealogical" critique of the history of moral and ethical reasoning in (as the title suggests) the English-speaking world. Grant's genealogy ultimately leads him to a discussion the 1974 Roe. V. Wade Supreme Court decision on abortion. He situates the decision as the almost inevitable outcome of the errors and assumptions of the tradition he critiques. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
