I had very mixed feelings about this book. The content itself was very interesting. I enjoyed reading about different Chinese festivals and how the originated. For example, the ghost festivals like Qing Ming started as a way to remember ancestors and make sure they were happy after death. However, while the information was interesting, the book was not organized well. On any given page you could find information, pictures and captions, and interactive questions. That amount of content made the book very cluttered, overwhelming, and hard to read. ( )
