Eventually it gets so long that everyday is a bad hair day! Aaron becomes angry and yells, "I Hate you!", hurts his hair's feelings and it runs away. All through the house and town, Arron's hair is creating all sorts of mischief as it continues to run away from Aaron. Eventually Aaron ends up returning home for dinner as he was suddenly drenched with sadness and remorse for having hurt his hair's feelings that he in turn missed so very much. His hair heard this and comes back to Aaron. Personal Reaction: Very silly and fun to read to young children. The story is entertaining and brings humor to a serious matter of the importance of being kind. Extension Ideas: Art project, take each kids picture and have them use yarn to make crazy long hair. Read during emotions, mannerisms, families. Lindsey Johnson Book #1 Grade Level – Kindergarten- 2nd grade Genre- Picture book Book Summary: Aaron grows his hair long like his dad.
