2. The summary of the book
When David is a child, David’ mother married again and Mr. Murdstone became David’ stepfather. He treated David badly. For example, He sent him to a horrible school. Also, He made him work in a factory when he was ten years old.
After Aunt Betsey protect David, his life became good. He grew and became a lawyer. After that, he helped friends and fell in love.
