Preface
There are five (5) levels of subject disclosure in this thesis:
1) Title & Subtitle
2) Themes
3) Chapters
4) Paragraph Headings
5) Text
Each of these five (5) levels of subject disclosure
constitute a kind of promise or a pledge.
One part of the promise or the pledge is that progressively, more of the subject
will be indicated or will be revealed, by each successive level of disclosure.
The title and the subtitle provide the initial level of disclosure.
The themes expand upon the title and the subtitle.
The themes signify, conform to and / or indicate the chapters.
So, there is both a relating to the prior level of disclosure,
as a compressed disclosure
and a relating to the subsequent level of disclosure,
which expands upon the former.
The chapters encapsulate the subjects
listed in the paragraph headings, the Table of Contents.
There is a sequence of increasing unfoldment and linking fidelity between:
1) the title and the subtitle, 2) the themes, 3) the chapters
4) the list of paragraph headings or the Table of Contents and 5) the text.
This thesis intends to use the progressively greater fund of attention,
at each level, offered by the reader,
in such a way, that the enlarged requirement for attention,
involved in each successive stage of the five (5) levels of disclosure, finds,
within the reader, an interest, an intrigue, a fascination,
or perhaps, at least, a regard and a respect,
resulting in a commitment by the reader to go on reading, studying
and thinking about the successive levels of disclosure.
That is what is intended. Is it happening for you? Now?
